Description


In 1953, Ryde on the Isle of White witnessed massive Police raids on five shops. Over 5,000 postcards, many by McGill, were seized and destroyed. In 2010, McGill's grandson Patrick Tumber opened the Donald McGill Postcard Museum in.........drum roll please.....Ryde on the Isle of White. Hats off to Mr Tumber.....

Just goes to show how things change and the 'good old days' did have it's problems. Puts me in mind of the early 80's 'video nastys' ban over here, laughably most of the films that were banned then are now legally freely available to buy lol.

Quite agree, you can't beat the old films like that sporting classic Debbie Does Dallas, or the great DIY'ers like Driller Killer and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.....all freely available on the Disney label now.......
