Description

We were watching the gorillas, when out sauntered Imani carrying a baby. I watched for a while, as I had never seen a baby gorilla. This little girl, was born by emergency c-section, at the Park. She was very ill after birth, pneumonia and a surgery for a collapsed lung. It was nearly 2 weeks before she was introduced to her Mama. Imani, the mom, instantly took the baby, and carries her around everywhere. In this photo, baby is 5 weeks old. I have one more composition of Imani and baby to share.
