Nice deep descent. On my monitor it seems you could go a little brighter on the light in the basement. While I know you're going for darkness/mood the lack of contrast in this case is flattening the depth that you've created in your set. The position of that cellar light is perfect and a little brighter would draw the eye further down.

Thanks! I agree about the lighting and contrast. The image works better on my desktop as a wallpaper than in a browser window where it looks much darker and indeed more "flat". I was concentrating on the middle ground because I just love this kind of stairways and corridors in real castles. On my desktop the "cellar" (this is my "Underground well" set and it's the well room at the end of the stairs) is bright enough to be visible, but not distracting (as I wanted it to be), but as said, in browser window it just doesn't work.
