Description
Found on a cycle ride today (I know..... I should watch where I'm going!!)
It has defeated by pocketbook of wildflowers of Britain, so I can't tell you what it is. Flowers are about 1 cm in diameter on stems about 9 inches tall.
Thanks for looking.

This is one of my favourite wild flowers, Cardamine pratensis, or Lady's Smock. Also known as Cuckooflower and Milkmaids. A lovely photo.

So lovely! And I'm happy to see Andrea has been here ahead of me so I don't get sucked into a long "name that flower" research project. :)

We can almost always depend on our resident gardener for identifications, thank goodness! What a beautiful shot, the ID of which I wouldn't have had any idea about either.

Beautiful flowers, from all the names given by Andrea, I love the name "Cuckooflower" ;)
