OK Andrew, what the hell is it! I am a Ford guy and this is really throwing me. Is this something built in NZ or Australia. Single headlights, four doors and some funky badging. Very strange!

Excellent, Fords in the UK were a dirty name for years, until the Mk 2 Cortina, then everyone wanted one with the black vinyl roof and 1600E engine, after that was the escort Mexico, with Brabham engine. I was never a fan, I liked the Sunbeam Rapier :)
