Description
Mrs Bonga had been standing, along with Columbus, on the other side of the door to the room where Wizard Wilberforce 23rd had been working on the magic to make Big Zlata smaller, after Zwoggle had made her huge when a spell he was doing at Meadows birthday party went awry.
After hearing a lot of commotion coming from the other side of the door Mrs Bonga decided to go in & see what was going on. So she gingerly opened the door & stepped in.
"Oh my goodness gracious me, me dearies, whatever is going on."
Mrs Bonga pointed to what was before her.
Well, what was before her, just a jumble of feet, bodies, heads & Scarey Mary floating out of the room.
There was only Truly sat watching the goings on.
Mrs Bonga moved forward with Columbus.
"It is fine Mrs Bonga." laughed Wizard Wilberforce. He decided he quite liked being called "Me dearie."
"The friends, were all told to think of what they were doing before the magic went wrong. So that is what is happening to them. Hopefully they are doing as I have asked & they will be back home very soon."
Mrs Bonga told him that was all well & good & she was very pleased but what about Truly & herself!!
"Don't worry Mrs Bonga, Bo will take you to the bridge, there you will be met by Jo & Mo, they will take you to Wilber & Hipsey who will get you to Hector Hic. Hector Hic will see that you get home safe & sound. I am sure Suzy 'Q' will make you a cup of tea when you pass her house & then set you on the right track for home.
Mrs Bonga, thanked the Wizard for all his help, stroked Columbus on his head & went to find Bo.
She really hoped the others would be waiting for her & Truly when they arrived home.

Another wonderful illustration as the adventure reaches that critical point, I guess we need to follow Mrs Bonga and Truly back home to see what they will find there. These illustrations and adventures would make a wonderful illustrated book for children and adults alike.
