Wow - Such vast empty space. It never ceases to amaze me how much uninhabited land there is once you get away from the densely populated coastal areas. Awe-inspiring! My parents took us on a 3-month excursion across the US (from east to west & back again) when I was 6 years old - one never forgets this kind of experience. (That was in the 50's, when it was even more desolate). Amazing image!

I did driving and camping trips when I had my Dodge van. I went out in '78, '80', 82', '84 & '87. I spent months on the road, saw hundreds of wonderful places and came back with a treasure trove of pictures and memories. It's impossible to put a dollar value on things like that!
