Outstanding view of what I think is a Conestoga Wagon. Know who invented that design? The Studebaker family,...wagons first, cars and trucks later. Like your lighting here.

Well!!! Bill even knows the name AND the inventors! Studebaker! I had no idea. (I just remember that their cars, when I was a kid, felt like big deep canyons inside, and we'd get lost in there, to our parents' chagrin.) Close up, the deep shade in the trees and the dappled light make a very rich backdrop for this beauty. And you have the main rails of the wagon flush with the fence, which is fine composition---it's just nicely placed against the road. And the way the front plank of the wagon---you can see how little I know: I mean the long wooden plank that's used, I assume, for horses, in front of the cart---well, the way that plank harmonizes with the road and fence, also a sweet choice: All flows nicely along the ground. And it feels like you have a subtle "irising" of the shot---I mean the subtle shading around the edges: Maybe you didn't do that, but it feels like a choice, and it's subtle and it quietly embraces the beauty of your subject. Lovingly presented, Claude, with fine highlights on the wagon to make it feel, once more, like a jewel. A fav for this whole farm series. They're real beauties.

I agree with Bill and I like the old Conestoga wagon style. Just think that this wagon may have carried a family from the Mississippi River to the west coast so many years ago! An excellent zoom too!
