Description
My version of the Luna from the 1950 film, Destination Moon, a classic cigar shaped chrome rocket ship! This was done for a challenge over at foundation 3d, to do new style versions of classic inspirational space art. I chose to do a movie poster style image that mixed ray tracing with the classic shape.
The ship was modeled in Lightwave and the scene was rendered in Vue. The rocket ship has been released in both Vue and Lightwave formats over at Foundation 3d.
