This insect I saw a few days ago in our garden, I've never seen this kind of scorpion fly before. So I quickly took many pictures of the beast, that was unfortunately very active, really not a second he sat still. It is quite large, about 5 to 6 cm.. I think the Latin name is: Panorpa Nuptialis, and that it's a male. Okay, I think it looks rather creepy when you look at all the details, which I could do in real, and it was quite interesting to study. Oh, here it sits on a leaf of a Fuchsia.
