Yes, I am sure Juliette is right, it has been attacked by a parasite which has laid its eggs on the unfortunate creature

Wow, that Cat will be the food for another insect. That is quite an amazing find imo. I don't think this is a common find at all. Very well captured!!!

Thank goodness for the wasps. If left unchecked, the caterpillars would strip all the vegetation from the planet.
