just what type of texturing did you use, uv, shaders, ???? please tell

Hi Zapper its all procedural. I used one color as base, with a fractal noise to get some variance and a gradient based on the bump map, then tweaked specular and diffuse. For the bump map I used a veine procedural shader + a crumple shader. The texture is inspired by a tutorial on newteks site, its about modelling a Brachiosaurus (http://www.lightwave3d.com/tutorials/modeling/dino/index.html) In the scene I used 4 lights, a blue backlight from above, a red one from below, a white keylight and a white filler, all 4 lights with linear falloff. It should look like a dragon flying at night over a bruning ground I think thats about all:) Phil

wonderful lighting! killer mesh!

Thanks allen:) But to be honest, the lighting hides most of the weaker parts of the mesh, lol
