Description

"Don't you DARE throw that beer can into MY forest!" Don't you just hate it when you're walking through a scene like this, only to hear the crunch as you step on a Dudwiser can that some lazy mental midget just chucked when they were done? Anyway, this lovely (and deadly) Elven lady is Elvia, a delightful new character by Pixeluna and Shadownet, available in the Rendo MP. Thanks, Lil' Sis - she's a real sweetie (as long as you don't litter.) and a dream to work with! Got another one for you soon.. The background photo was taken last weekend while we were hiking at Haha Tonka State Park, So many lovely places there.. Elvia was rendered in PP2014, composite in Photoshop CS6E. I'm pretty well cross-eyed after doing all the erasing, lassoing, etc with the bushes in front of her feet! :-P The original is huge - lots of quality lost in squeezing this down to a miserly 512K. Full-size image available at my DA page: HERE Thanks so much for all your great comments on my last posts with Ronny! So.... Will you get to see the results of her taking the dare? We shall see....... :-D

You did a splendid job of merging the scene with the character. It looks like as though she is there. Your hard word paid off. Well done !

Super Image.... And yes it's bad that people come to the great outdoors do all kinds of things and then leave total wreckage behind... I think people should think a little more about what they do in these places... Have a good weekend..

she looks very natural in the landscape. when I stopped at "Cadillac Ranch" near Amarillo there is a big trash can at the entrance. the people carry their spray paint cans to the cars to add some paint and them throw them down instead of putting in the trash. just the same thing is when people go to get food at the store, they will leave the cart where ever their car is parked when the corral is often just next to their parking

Nice job of blending and you hit upon one of my major pet peeves - there is a lot that is out of our hands (individually) when it comes to improving our environment, but each of us can at least throw away our own litter.

Oh wow, thank you for this beautiful dedi, Big Bro! As always, you have blended Elvia perfectly with the background. The mixing together of a 3D render and a 2D photo is just seamless, just very impressive!

Excellent work blending the two media. I agree with you. Too many people think the earth is their personal trash can.

Woooow fantastic image for Jenny and Rob she looks if she was there in the park with you.. Great blending. Yep I never can understand the mentality if those that just throw their cans and bottle anywhere they please.. Keep up the great work!!

No mosquitos? Great job Rod. I can just imagine all the work to get the foreground to appear before her feet. Well done. We recycle:-)

You got my sore point as well. When I went hunting two years ago, I came across a campsite that was nothing but trash - very disgusting Great work on this scene

Beautiful render. One nitpick - she has the arrow on the wrong side of the bow for a left handed archer. It will throw her aim off and the dastardly deed will go unpunished!
