Description

the hike along which i took the pictures that i used in the collage i posted the other day (see thumbnail/link below) afforded many opportunities to take shots that included water... while processing them, i decided to play a bit with crops that comprised only water, and boost the colors naturally to see what might pop out. i hope you like the result! i call it 'stream of consciousness' because it reminds me of what i envision is going on between my ears sometimes lol... actually, though, the matte portions of each image represent the subconscious mind, while the polished, more flamboyant portions are the conscious mind... i'll let y'all figure out for yourselves what some of those thoughts might be! camera: nikon d5000 (thanks again for the loaner, lynell!) locale: gatlinburg trail, smoky mountain national park, eastern TN postwork: picmonkey, powerpoint link to my last image, 'the path to new memories...':
