Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Painting the roof would be much safer :) Interesting find. Aloha

I find that window or solar power something on the slanted roof very interesting in this most unusual picture, at least from POV standards. And what is that on top of the chimney?

Great angle for this shot! :) Love it!

Another real Marilyn shot: The house is half out of sight, and it's met by all that sandy grass---that sand-filled grass can be found no where else but by waters!---and a tree top, right on the surface of the land (so to speak)! A pov with all kinds of surprises in it. And you got a solar panel, and yeah (ala Harry) those strange things on the chimney: They look like surveillance cameras, though who knows...Another minimalist shot, but it's rich and very beach-y, and a really surprising view of a house and its surroundings. Moreoriginal work from you, Marilyn, and a real pleasure. I get on RR sporadically, but it's always a great pleasure to come here and feel like I'm being reborn as a photographer because of your wholly fresh shots and pov's. Also, you're making me pine to see the Oregon coast! Terrific offerings the last few months. I look forward to more.
