Description
Starship Leviathan is one of my signature pieces. As such, I have reworked the design a number of times since its birth in the mid-1990's. The partial cutaway view here is for the version of the ship posted on Renderosity in 2012. In order to present the illustration is the level of detail I wanted, as well as meet the maximum images size requirement for images posted on Renderosity, I had to cut the image in half. In artistic style, the image is inspired by the many "ship system displays" done by fellow artists for a variety of "Star Trek" designs.

Nice! Don't know about cutting the post in half like that though, but I suppose it's either that or a lot of image compression or worse, a smaller image and less detail.
