Everyone looks happy!

The little girls with their wreaths are lovely! And ditto to the buxom tavern wench with her beau, but who let in the saloon barmaid in the bottom shot? That's not proper dress for this faire at all! Stunning faire-goer portrait work, Harry; you have a real knack for this stuff!

a very nice atmosphere to this feast of restored Renaissance ... a great story that you, as écritr MrsRatbag ... you have a gift for story ... even if the 'characters' OPNT a body a little coated!

Well I'm back in sequence again---I skipped to the front because you were gracious enough to acknowledge me, and it was well worth the skip. (As was that beautiful old car.) But now I'm back to where I left off...Harry, I've had---I should say "we've had"---server problems in this high rise, and they don't freakin' stop. They're upgrading equipment and it's causing more interruptions than I can count, so my comments drop out upon saving. So I just stopped yesterday. I'll try several today and hope it goes well... Yeah, the couple in shot 1 are the real stars of that shot, and they look like they're sharing a happy, private moment together. I like that they're surrounded by those people in front---it makes this a true candid: Esp as those front people are staring at something out of frame, which is what fine candids are all about. The counterpoint of human experience---a couple who are the "stars" of the shot, behind others who're all staring out of shot: Fine candid photography. Also, they look like a family, up front; 3 of them are in reds. Fine street photography, Harry. In the second shot, the main woman is (yes) in an outfit more from the 1800's than the renaissance---but the joy of this series is that there are a number of different styles in most of these shots; it's a carnival in a way. She's got a nice pose too, nodding in grace at someone. And 3 kids in front are doing something completely different (and verrrrry serious about it), and two women in peasant dresses are behind---one taking a picture! (That's not too renaissance either!) Another fine find, Harry, fine candid seeing. And a wide array of humanity too.
