My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

beautiful picture and colours, nice light spots on the grass

Lovely, but I often feel slightly melancholy in this light. I think it goes way back to my feelings about leaving the beach to go home for tea as a child!

I love the soft glow in this shot; perhaps the glow of expectation? Beautiful capture!

Just a bunch of beachgoers watching the sunset. Sort of a farewell to home for you, eh? Lovely glow and highlights.

Oh, this is sooo elegant and beautiful, Tara! I love shots like this! Such wonderful warm light, and yet the green of the grass still comes through.

Andrea spoke of melancholy, Denise spoke of expectation: I like both, they're what this feels like to me. And zoom is a must, because the highlights on the grasses are sublime in full view. And then the grasses recede into the tangle of shadows...beautiful. And it's the beach that provides all the light...we're seeing it filtered through the veil of those lone plants. And the beach looks like water itself, I guess part of the magic of a beach. The light is warm but very late-cool, or early-cool. A beautiful piece with those highlights that are like jewels. It's hard to believe you began, back then, in Washington: Your trip seemed defined for a while by the deep south. You guys really got around! This is a beautiful "sunset" image for your trip, even though it was at the beginning. It has the feeling of a fond farewell. Beautiful.
