No, this isn't the new dragon from DAZ, sorry. This is the old Subdragon from DAZ. I've recently started entering contests for doing book covers for folks over at 99Designs. I haven't had a whole lot of luck, but I have learned a lot and done some interesting art (at least I think so - the authors don't seem to agree). The general distribution of the subject matter looks odd on its own, but is done to accommodate titles, author, back text, ISBN, etc. In addition to the usual rendering in DS 4.6, I ran the image through a filter from Topaz Labs called Topaz Clean 3. You can achieve some cool FX, and I thought I'd share one of them with you. Due to the detail of the filter, I HIGHLY recommend enlarging the image to its max, otherwise it looks a bit flat.
