I didn't plan to return to RR till sunday, due to a new computer and a bit of a flu bug (who comes by every season)---but a thousandth image from you??? I'd come back from Mars to celebrate that!!! This is a big bursting sun-drenched image, with plenty of shadow to balance it out, all kinds of reds to dapple and grab our rods and cones, and that big bonsai-looking tree in the middle. And you have greens in front and around it---it's like you arranged it like a gigantic salad. A big eye popping and so affirmative interpretation of a tree and its surroundings. Claude, you are one of the truly committed artists here, you dive in head first, you're fearless, you take on whatever your eye sees, and you go into it with all your powers, to pull out all the powers inside it, its energies, beauties, contrasts, stillnesses and giddy dances...and it's a pleasure to be here all the times I've been here. When I walk away from your pieces, I'm filled with energy, life and art. Congratulations---1000 is a huge milestone, and I'm thrilled to have been able to share pieces of it, as I'm sure your other fans are!!! And re your comment today: First, thanks again for your always to the heart comments, you comment as you create, thoroughly and from the heart. And yes, that wasn't pop art at all: I called it that because it was a response to a dear friend's pop art (helanker), but I was too damned lazy to explain that in my gallery, lol---so my fans will have to be perplexed and send me letters. Also I liked the 3d panel best too---Denise thought I should end with it, and I'll tell you both that I DID end with it in the original 90 mile long piece. Who knows why I put that last panel there today? I was tired, I did it, and then I thought, well I'll let it be. Thanks for the observations. And congratulations again!!! A big and deservedly joyous milestone!

A thousand excellent shots, here's to thousands more! A beautiful shot, this; I love the sense of subdued light and hushed woods. Japanese gardens are really good at that. The shapes you saw and captured are pure music to the eyes!

It's hard to believe you're already at 1,000! I went back and looked at the first image in your gallery, and had to laugh at my comment: "Oooooooohhh ... be careful with that camera! I started out using Blender 3-D, and was taking a few texture shots and ... well ... I don't know what happened, but now I'm a photographer! LOL!" As I recall, you did one Bryce piece this year. I guess I was clairvoyant! LOL! No matter what medium you choose, you produce wonderful art. It's not the vehicle, but the mind and the eye. It's a pleasure to follow your gallery, my friend.
