Description

As I was out watching some cottontail rabbits, I started to look at the other things around me. Growing up, my mother always had wildflower bouquets in the house. As I lay there in the field, I realized just how pretty these wildflowers are. In this one small area, I found white, yellow, pink, lavender and purple flowers. I am finally to the place in my life where I appreciate the lesson she taught us about everything. Life doesn't have to cost a lot. The best things are often free. We just have to look.

Gorgeous! Beauty is everywhere. I spent most of my morning walking along the freeway picking up trash (a group of us sponsors a two-mile stretch of Interstate-5) and all along a half-mile section were daisies in tall grass, and it was a little pocket of peace and quiet just to be there, even with thousands of cars and trucks whizzing by. Flowers change everything. :)
