Description
Hello everyone, it's been a while - haven't been in the mood for art, and more than that - my computer had taken a whipping in the flight. Spent a nice bit to get it fixed and yet - it still wasn't entirely fixed because it wouldn't render.
Reality rendering would make it run hot - and off it would go.
High lighting, shades and other high resolution lighting did the same. So finally this payday I was able to invest in a really good graphics card. And I didn't take it in for that - because I was sure that's what it was, so I installed it myself.
It's a nVidia Geforce GTX 760 ACX -(Active Cooling Xtreme)- 2gb GDDR5 - double fans and quiet as can be. Powered by the PSU as well, man was it a trip trying to find those connections, but I did and finally - she's up and running again. This time when I put Reality 2.5 to work - no problem, not a hiccup. I've decided to purchase a new motherboard later on as well, a high end i7 processor and six cores.
In anycase - I'm slowly coming back to life and getting things back in order.

I haven't played in poser in months... my desktop got a virus and can't even get to my files.... so, I'm on my old lap top that doesn't have a good battery and if I bump it, it loses power so - no, I'm not even going to get into poser. Money is too tight to even fix either one, so I can sympathize with what you went through - I'm going through it - lol

So many people are. It's hard - I had to work hard and scrimp but it finally came and I bit the bullet and went for it. Hang in there sweet!

Glad to see you posting again! Good for you on the pc upgrade, that graphics card is sweet but you will notice a big difference when you get around to the new cpu... :)
