Description

My son wanted me to take a shot of this tiny grasshopper baby. It was about 10-12 milimeters long. And for once my Olympus worked. FULL SIZE is much larger and detailed. Thank you to all who helped me getting this going again. It seems I had forgotten how to use it LOL! It was stored down for a couple of years. But I think I will use it for true macros again :) Have a wonderful week. We have had great weather all day. Thank you so much for viewing and commenting.

WOW! That little, green person is almost all legs! Such an elegant creature too. I love grasshoppers, crickets, cicadas, treehoppers, leaf-hoppers (I think they're called "bush crickets" in some places and "kadydids" in others.) Anyway, I love 'em; they're always so cute and have you noticed that adult grasshoppers always look as if they're dressed for special occasions? This is a stunning, and gorgeous macro! Such a tiny little thing with such long legs! What a shot! It's perfect!
