Throughout the year Trafalgar Square hosts a number of diverse events ranging from celebrating national and religous days, to cultural and artistic festivities. These are just a small selection of shots from a few events that have took place in the past, clockwise from top left: Japan Matsuri 05/10/13 - An event to celebrate Japanese culture and Japan-British relations, there was plenty of Japanese food, music, performance to be enjoyed. Vaisakhi Festival 05/05/13 - Celebrating the Sikh New Year with music, food, Bhangra and Punjabi dance. Canada Day 01/07/13 - Celebrating the national day of Canada, marking the joining of colonies forming a federation - becoming a kingdom in its own right. On this day everything Canadian was celebrated from food, to music, to hockey :). Le Français J'Adore, 18/03/2012 - A range of French folk, pop and jazz singers performed here, to raise awareness of the French language and highlight the diversity of the French-speaking community.
