Description
Just a technical exercise really, all modelled and rendered in Carrara. I used a depth pass which was used in Photoshop to add the depth of field effect.

Hi Phil, great Render. Did you sue the genuine Carrara Render Engine?. How long did it take?

Yes, just the genuine Carrara render engine. It uses the techniques that I will outline in the forthcoming "Realism in Carrara" video tutorial set by Infinite Skills, which should be launched later this month. It took less than a minute to render.

Thanks - I used the spline editor for the threads and then converted to the vertex modeller to finish it off.

Only in Canada apparently! And I wanted to go for a generic screw (and it is easier to model than a cross head!)
