Description
One of my bucket list items is to attend Carnevale in Venice . I want to go to the Doge's Palace in costume and party the night away, as well as walk around during the day with porcelain masks and costume to match.
I thought this would be a good tribute to the amazing costuming and masks that can be seen while there. Thanks for saying hi!!

Superb image - - a lovely tribute to the artists who participate in the Carnevale. (Must be a bit of synchronicity going on here - I happened to come across a website yesterday that featured photographs of these beautiful costumes and masks - they were just breathtaking and made me want to see it first-hand. I knew about the Carnevale, but had never really appreciated just how much incredible creativity went into it.

Every year the Hubby and myself always look at the years costumes to see whats new. We are always blown away when the images are posted out. I can only imagine how much fun it has to be to participate in such an event. Hopefully one year we will get to experience it.. =)
