i always thought the spiral stair was cool, and in 1994, snapped a blurry slide... proof of the persistence of a fascination. Great architecture!

Intelsat headquarters in Washington DC. used to be an International Treaty Organization, there with all the Embassies, and I used to be a west coast staffer. now it's half- "privatized", part owned by - you guessed it - Lockheed. original slide scanned today on the epson 2450. thanks for viewing.

The scene in your snapshot looks very imposant and the blur is a famous effect for stressing the really stunning architecture and lights... also the perspective is fascinatingly :-)))
