En 1921, dans une forêt mal famée du nord d’Arkham, la demeure ancestrale des Billington, abandonnée depuis des décades est rouverte par un de leurs descendants.
D’étranges papiers de famille lui révèlent les nom de Dagon, Nyarbuthotep, et l’existence d’un chef indien fantôme qui aida son ancêtre à appeler Quelque Chose à venir du Ciel dans la Nuit.
Il découvre son appartenance à l’espèce infâme qui voulut ouvrir les portes de la terre à des monstres venus des étoiles, ayant pour parent le grand Cthulhu. Et il réalise que la tour lointaine, placée dans l’axe de la grande fenêtre, est une porte sur le seuil de laquelle ils attendent.
L’ouvrira-t-il ? A qui ? Ou à quoi ? Pourquoi les étoiles sont-elles descendues du ciel dans la tour avant d’éclater en un flux de chair protoplasmique, putride et noire ? (babelio)
In 1921, in an infamous Arkham northern forest, the ancestral home of Billington, abandoned for decades is reopened by one of their descendants.
Strange family papers reveal her name Dagon Nyarbuthotep, and the existence of an Indian chief who helped his ancestor ghost calling Something coming from heaven in the Night.
He discovers his membership in the infamous case that tried to open the doors of the earth monsters came from the stars, whose parent Great Cthulhu. And he realizes that the distant tower, located in the axis of the large window, is a door on the threshold of which they expect.
The he open? Who? Or what? Why are stars in the sky they descended the tower before bursting into a putrid black and protoplasmic flow of flesh?

Étonnant récit que j'ignorais totalement ... hum hum... Même l'auteur n'était inconnu... Bref ta superbe création me fait aussi penser à une image scanner d'une créature de l’au-delà, a moins que ce ne soit une "impression 3d" de cette même créature tout aussi improbable que mes idées sur cette fantastique image !!! A suivre serais-je tenté de dire...
