Description

Scotland, Argyll, Glencoe This evening it was warm and NO wind and then they came, the monsters.......so called Midges! We ran to the car but we had forgotten to close the window! the car was full of them! there was only one way to get them off the car: open all windows and and drive like the devil is behind you! *g* Wish you all a wonderful sunday! ;o)

Your photos are really an invitation to Scotland. They should put them in all travel ads.

Das sieht wieder beeindruckend aus. Ein imposanter Blick. Fantastisches Foto. Das Auto voller Mücken zu haben ist echt ätzend, das ist mir auch schon passiert.

Oh God, can I identify with that! I have heard the Scottish Highlands are wicked for midges in the late spring and summer. I have been in the arctic where the sky was literally black with biting flies so I can identify, although we had no car to escape to. Though I can totally identify with the strategy... it makes me laugh. The scene while magnificent probably could not overide the misery of the little black bastards.

Midges can be a serious problem in the glens and highlands. Hope you escaped them. Hugs Di. xx
