Description
Few cities in the world can boast about location of their sea ports. In Riga huge ocean ships can moor practically in the center of the city - just a few steps away from the Old Riga embankment.
(The deepening of the river bed became possible only because of the sea port contracts with Russia).

Thanks. But no post-work, in fact, except for some minor retouching. The BG goes with the render as any regular BG. But there was certain preliminary work to make such BG :-).

Yes, definitely a beautiful merging of photo and 3D art, Vadim. I think you would like my neck of the woods. The San Francisco Bay has some of the most beautiful vistas on the planet, even if I do say so myself. Watching a SF Giants baseball game and seeing a cargo ship sail past loaded with containers or new cars is an incredible site. Riga looks like it has some beautiful waterfront sites itself.

I agree about SF and the vista. And here I produced the vista myself (rarely people go to the place where I took the shot). But in Riga the advantage is different. I just have not mentioned that here in Riga the tourists simply leave their cruse ship and right away can enjoy the old medieval town (which do not exist in the USA, I guess :-)).
