when I went to Carlsbad Caverns I tried using my external flash, but it ruined the shots. this time I used my Grasslon diffuser and this is a result of even lighting

The last time I used my Grasslon diffuser I got six months probation, but this is incredible! Wow what a great picture! That is so cool! PS ... I was joking about the six months. LOL. :) I don't even know what that is.

Caves can be a real pain in the butt to get decent photos in. Flash (as you noticed) washes close detail out, and the lighting they have in caves usually requires a tripod. Most cave tours don't allow tripods, unfortunately. But this is an awesome capture, Richard. That looks like an amazing cave.
