Ultra Fractal 5.04 (nine-layers) Here I envisage a lad, otherwise destined to be a farm labourer, deciding to go to the city in search of that pot of gold and a more exciting life. The stories of Dick Whittington might strike a chord. Born in the 14th century in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, the nursery rhyme says he walked to London, there became incredibly wealthy, and was to become Lord Mayor of the city. Factually he became a mercer had close relations with the monarchs of the time and seems to have been elected Lord Mayor of London on no less than three times. Art takes you in strange directions I'd never have guessed I'd conjure with nursery rhymes in this twilight of life. Cliff.
