Description
Taken at Shore Acres State Park on the Oregon Coast. I noticed a large dark object partially hidden under some bushes & when I went to investigate, I saw that it was a very large fungus. You can tell how big it is by comparison with the leaves around it. There are lots of beautiful bright flowers at Shore Acres & of course I took photos of them, but I also like to challenge myself to find subjects that are a little less obvious. Please zoom...

I saw one rather like this at the park once; it was huge, and it was very dark and hard to photograph because of the darkness. You did very well getting detail in this shot, I'm impressed!

WOW!!! Very different and some of those colors almost look iridescent! Well worth a zoom!
