Description

Vue8Frontier/DazStudio/Photoshop A companion piece to an earlier work,only this time I wanted to create all the effects within Vue,instead of additional postwork in Photoshop. Mech is from Daz3D(imported via DazStudio),all other items from Cornucopia3D. Sky,light and atmo are custom...smoke created by applying a modified cloud material to spheres.Fire is my own re-worked Vue fire Special Effects material( additional tweaking in turbulence and cycling settings,as well as the addition of luminosity).Flying embers created by modifying a Falling Snow material and applying it to a 2D panel. Four point lights create the additional glow from fires within and around the buildings.Postwork only for signature and resizing of image. Thanks for viewing and any comments!

Great Sci-Fi scene, the fire looks awesome as well as the smoke, but I am not so sure about the embers... There is something, not quite right about those to my eye. Maybe the color and/or size? That being said, it is still an fantasy image.

wonderful image good work on the fire and smoke , though i would agree with jdstrider about the embers , looking at photos of fire your embers /sparks look too static most photos show movement streaks away from the fire which is in just my opinion though dont quite sit right ,
