It occurred to me some time ago that I'd never done an image of a mermaid.... Then, lo and behold, lovely Marinda swam into my life, and into my heart! Thanks so much for sending her over to play, Lil' Sis! It was a long swim, but she'll have a good home! So what does a mermaid daydream about? Perhaps a time when her ocean home was pristine and unsullied by pollution, oil spills and the rusting wreckage of human folly. Marinda is available at RDNA along with her expansion set, and the amazing Oceana set. Another over-the-top set of products from Pixeluna, Shadownet, and Co! I just love her tail - so unique and so poseable. I did a bit of postwork in CS6 - where the rocks meet the water seemed a little to sharp, so I added a bit of sea foam. Try as I might, I couldn't get Poser to accurately refract the bit of her tail that's under water, so I had to resort to the liquify tool in Photoshop. I LOVE that tool!
