Part 17:- The grey skins take them to meet Karem and Mirak Sool, the rulers of this strange place.... Jai & Gren are intrigued by these strange blue beings with red eyes, pointed ears and dressed in silver and black clothing.. Mirak tells them that they are actually inside a huge space craft, and that his people, the Ixor, have been travelling the stars since their home world, Clisrx, was destroyed many years ago. Their ship had developed a serious malfunction which caused it to crash into this planet. The force of the impact had been so great that the ship buried itself in the soft terrain. We had intended to make repairs and resume our journey but that didn't happen because that soft earth had hardened into solid rock that left us entombed. The boys are intrigued by their stories and amazed at the technology around them, so they didn’t notice that Karem had taken a great interest in Gren. Mirak wanted to learn more about the Kyasi and where their village was, as they would like to establish a trading relationship…
