Hello friends, back safe at home and not able to catch up all your posts... please give me some time... thats a pic from a graduation day in California, was pretty touching with so many visitors, music, sunshine, young people, parents and "kids" - all happy :-)

Well, there's no doubting in what country this picture was taken! LOL! I'm so happy to know there are places in the world that treat these occasions with more pragmatism and less drama. I so often feel I'm being emotionally manipulated by ceremonies and traditions and whatnot. Perhaps I should move to a place where there's less drum beating and flag waving!! :) Nice to have you back, and glad you enjoyed your trip!

Even so the US of A celebrates everything with a lot of pomp and ceremony, it still is an amazingly joyful and very colourful event ! I have actually never seen purple graduation gowns (?) before, maybe I live a very sheltered life and should go out more often ;)) Priska, don't panic by trying to catch up with everybody - (it's impossible, trust me I should know - LOL) I am glad you enjoyed your trip - I am the next one to follow ...
