Description
Ummmmm, that's good booze!
Captured 4/27/14, at the beautiful Renaissance Faire, held at the beautiful Santa Fe Dam Recreation Area, in semi beautiful Irwindale, California.
Another beauty from the faire, but instead of being the usual beautiful damsel of delight, this lovely was delivering all kinds of sordid prose about the kingdom of darkness, the no ifs or buts about the doom of mankind and our eventual demise and stay in purgatory, the benefits of s & m, and all kinds of Mephistopheles stuff, not fit for the ears of the young, innocent, pure and meek.
If she was also the proprietor of the kiosk behind her, how ironic that she would be drinking her Bud Lite from a plastic cup, rather than from one of the goblets or mugs she is hawking. She had so much to say that I didn't feel like hanging around to challenge her or ask any questions, in part for not wanting a curse cast upon me as a heretic, even from one so gorgeous.
A ZOOM will bring you just that much closer to this femme fatale.
Cheerybye.

This lady I would have liked to hear and visually she is a pleasure. As for the cup, I agree with you, a cup of clay or so would fit better to it. Three superb shots.

I HATE plastic cups, the only use for them is the mouthwash at the dentist. Pretty woman.

Funny, she doesn't look like a heretic...she is quite lovely, and you captured a series of really good shots of her. Sounds like she had a strange schtick, I wonder if it was demon alcohol talking? Although she doesn't appear intoxicated at all. Maybe she had Tourette's syndrome? Odd and another great chapter in your faire series, Harry!

Another delightful oddity from your Faire shots, and nice that you got her facing the other side (relative to where you're standing), because we see her totally immersed in her talk. So, she was going on about all that stuff? That must've been real theater! I wonder if the parents weren't covering their kids' ears...She looks like she's totally involved in what she's saying, and because of your pov, we only see her and not her audience, so we concentrate on her expression and costume. I like that in a number of your faire portraits---we get to see the artisans doing their thing, separate of their audiences, so we see the degrees of immersion, concentration, etc. And, as for what she's drinking, I think that's some kind of fruit drink, unless Bud Lite has gone "cherry" on us---it's possible, as I've seen some fruited beers around. In any case, I love how you start with her drinking, and then go to her speaking. Another vivid portrait in this series. She carves out her own world, and we have yet another whole-formed character of the many you've captured from this event...
