Scotland, Argyll, Glencoe
The special mood of glencoe seems to be that there are no trees on the hills as far as the eye can see.

I don't know if it is true for Glencoe, but many parts of Great Britain that were once forest became denuded by human activity.. War, construction, agriculture, manufacturing all needed an endless supply of wood.. which the isles just didn't have. Superb image!

such distance, it is almost alien with the brown instead of green, presumably you are above the treeline here?
