love it, the Barbarella background makes it beautifully retro and fun, a factor which super cinema graphics are slowly killing by being too slick — can't wait to see Guardians of the Galaxy tho :)

Thanks everyone... I'm a huge fan of Sci-fi... Especially cult classics like Barbarella and Star Crash... This was a fun and challenging image to create... A lot of work went into lighting the scene, just right, to give it that Vintage feel... I also wanted it to feel like something you would see through a classic "view-master". The Star Field in the background was another challenge as well. But I'm happy with how this turned out. Very fun.
