Description
Today I went with the 'girls' who were in my year at school for our communal 70th Birthday lunch.
As it was a very special occasion we went to a high end hotel where lunch is affordable, but staying there is for another income bracket into which we do not fall!
Basha is the Head Waiter, and like all the staff he was not only professional and charming but great fun too. See a silly face he made Here
I have a portrait of the lassie behind him, which I will post tomorrow.

Well, from the looks of it, Basha certainly wasn't bashful when you took his portrait, if this splendid pic is any criterion, Andrea. And who is that lady peeking over his shoulder? Glad that he was a fun person. They are always welcome in this dour world.

Hop so we need more black and Asian people to help dispel the myth about UKIP being racist, they are not racist they are right, but let me digress and not wax too political, looks a darn nice guy to me Andrea, and I am pleased you got a nice meal with friends, must have done you the power of good.

This image and the one on flickr (which made me laugh) show him to be both nice and very funny. An attractive combination. Excellent portrait. I like the lady looking over his shoulder too. Happy 70th to you all! Getting together for lunch at a posh hotel is a great way to celebrate! I checked out the menu. Triple cooked chips needed some investigation. I had never heard of them. I'm not that crazy about chips ('French fries' as we call them or in a ridiculous and thankfully short lived moment, 'freedom fries') I used to like the fries that were really crispy, but these days, I avoid fried foods most of the time. (A terrible thing for a 'girl' born in the Southern USA to admit.) Very pretty restaurant and appetizing menu!
