Description
I remember watching a very early computer generated animation some years ago where strange, alien plants were firing seed pods into the sky.
That was probably where this idea came from.
Here, we see the pods as they set out on a journey through the universe to spread the gift/curse of life wherever they land.
Many will fall on barren terrain and come to naught, but many more will flourish and give rise to a diverse range of living organisms and, ultimately, sentience.

I think it was one of the 'Minds Eye' shows. I think they made two of them - which I bought on Laser Disc many years ago. :-)
