Description
While I was in Pennsylvania, I took my great nephew to a small but nice zoo. I have always been fascinated by giraffes. This guy was just as fascinated by me. As I would attempt to focus to get a shot, he would dip his head down and taste of my hair.
He then licked my lens.......Let me tell you something. That much spit on a lens is NOT what I wanted to clean up! (I do keep filters on my lenses). Turned out he just decides he likes some people. I will put that on my resume. After I spoke with the zoo keeper, fed him some carrots, cleaned my lens ,he posed for this. I love the big brown eyes they have. He is quite a friendly big guy when he likes you.

He is very handsome. My friend & l are going to Colchester zoo next week, she is feeding the giraffes & I am feeding elephants. We got each other the experiences for Xmas presents, we cannot wait. Xx
