Description

The afternoon vanished like a bag of marshmellows near a campfire. Lance jerked everyone back to reality when he said, 'Geez! It will be dark soon. I gotta get this ship back to the dock, pronto!' Reed pulled the anchor as Skylar and Lilly stowed all the grub. Once everyone was safely aboard, Lance and Lilly adjusted the sails and they were underway once more. It was a short and exhiliarating ride back to the dock. The ship seemed to be racing with time, and winning. Lance looked a little worried they might be approaching the shore to fast until Lilly made some minor sail adjustments and the ship noticeably slowed down. Lance and Lilly lowered the sails a safe distance from shore and Lance piloted the ship up to the dock like an expert. Well, perhaps he is one. He has been around boats all his life. Duh! LOL! Well, I didn't know that until I started writing this chapter. Sorry! Everyone helped unload the ship. Skylar and Reed helped Lance secure the boat. They loaded the food supplies back into Eleanor and said farewell to Lance. He said it wouldn't be for long. He was coming back to Lilly's that night too, so they would be seeing him again, perhaps in their rear view mirror. ----------------------------- M4 & V4 characters. Rendered in Poser 9. Yup. Excellent viewpoint! And, hey, how cool. Party back at Lilly's tonight! Excellent. Man, I bet she knows how to throw a party with all that cooking and stuff she's always doing. Very, very enjoyable day on the lake, my friend!
