Fruit salads, Palm toffee, Fry's boys five chocolate, Calypso and Jublee frozen drinks, sweet peanuts, Spangles, acid drops, clove sweets, winter mixture, Trebor mints, Foxes Glacia mints and fruits, Cadbury's Aztec bars, Peanut rings, Sherbet lemons, and fountains, Mojo's, Flying saucers, Parma violets, Pez with the little machines, red liquorice laces, Trebor fizzers. Sharps buttersnap, Caramac chocolate, And finally I remember Jamboree bags, they were a big hit with us :) Other memories are playing alley gobs. This brought back a ton of memories for me too Steve. Thanks for that.

When I was young, it was the same atmosphere in France (I'm 70).

Well I'm jealous. The best we ever got from Fulton's Market was two candies for a penny. My early childhood was spent in a small town surrounded by farmland so the air was a lot cleaner and we got dirty the old fashioned way, by playing in actual dirt. But the rest of it sounds familiar. We also had Bazooka Joe and many other treats that are no longer made. I miss some of them to this day. Superb restoration. Thanks for the memories.

Ah yes, the third world, Yorkshire; LOL! What a starkly haunting scene this is. It's funny how things in our memories seem so much different than the actuality was. I guess our little minds couldn't encompass our placement in the universe. I discovered this when I looked at photos of the house I grew up in, Los Angeles in the 1960s. Tiny little box of a house, but I remember magic in and around it. Superb restoration of this shot, there is so much to see here!
