I LOVE Western scenes (check out my gallery if you have any doubts). This is a really nice, quiet scene that has a lot of character and detail. I really like the plates on the wall and the sacks on the floor, plus the wood to the side. All these details help sell the scene, so to speak. The only thing that doesn't work for me is the way his leg just sits out there. It's odd. There should be something under it for him to rest it on. I know guys stretch like this sometime (I know I do), but it looks like he's relaxing, and therefore it just leaves me wondering what his leg is doing out there. Maybe you could put a log or box under his foot? And if you want to add one more touch of realism, give the dog a bone. Both those details would take this good image and make it great. Of course, I could just be feeling nitpicky today... I really do love what you've done here... and I may just go get a bottle and glass myself! Thanks for posting it!
