The records gave a complete history of the Ixor....... It seemed they were a wealthy, peaceful people who lived a leisurely lifestyle where no one worked. They employed pale skinned human like creatures imported from a neighbouring world to serve them and tend to the everyday needs of their society. I discovered that the Sools led a group of male scientists that were experimenting with a rejuvenation process to prevent aging. It had government backing but they were using the process illegally to attain immortality for themselves and their close friends. The process required the blood of pale skinned young males which the Scientists had been illegally sourcing from the servants. The Sools were elated when they succeeded in halting the aging process but their joy was short lived when side effects killed two of their group. They realized that without a constant supply of the processed blood they would all meet the same death. When the authorities discovered what the Sools had been doing, they were outraged and immediately cancelled the program and destroyed their laboratory. The Sools and their ten fellow immortals were loaded on this ship and banished from Clisrx forever. Fortunately, Karem, through his connections, had been able to source a copy of the formula. He also had some reserves of blood in cold storage which he managed to get loaded on the ship. The library also linked me to the ships log which revealed that the ships medical bay equipment was easily converted to serve as a rejuvenator, and during their travels they had gathered suitable species from many worlds with the aid of the ships transporter. However, the crash knocked out that transporter, and all attempts to repair it had failed. Although they had a good supply of blood, they knew the time was coming when it would run out. Another fact I discovered was that they cannot tolerate Zaelian sunlight. It seems that two of their party foolishly ventured outside the ship when they first arrived here unaware the sunlight would kill them”....
