The ceiling curves up into a vertical hole which allows the light in.

Absolutely stunning work. Excellent lighting and atmospheric effects, really well balanced without going overboard. Modeling looks deceptively simple, but I am sure that this is not at all. Texture work is amazing, and I admire your attention to detail with the missing/chipped blocks. Nice selection for a poem as well. :o)

I just saw the movie Queen of the Vampires. This looks like it should have been one of the sets in the movie. Great!
