Wow, Harry, you may have shot 260 other roses, but this one simply jumped out and got me. Maybe because I think it's one I have in my yard, but no matter how, I just LOVE it!!

Well I've been here over an hour, and I've only done 3 shots! (Well part of that time was in choosing uploads...) That's because I haven't commented in weeks. But I'll try to slim them down so I can do more images in the future. Anyway, to these roses... A beautiful diagonal shot, one of a number of diagonal flower shots in your gallery. With the center rose all aglow with yellows and oranges, in addition to the pinks and reds. Beautifully composed. And you seem to have a younger rose on the left, and an older one on the right---also sensitively composed. The leaves atop are nice balance to the grass below; and a nice touch of white in the top---another flower, I assume---as a beautiful accent. I agree with everyone here, it's splendid. Your rose series is one of the best series on RR. A beautiful portrait of this endlessly varied and sensual gem of a flower, a fact you bring out over and over in your offerings.
