Description
dedicated to Jack White and his bunch...check out Lararetto, it's craziness...
this plant is native to Tibet and surrounding areas. last year I thought It was not survive the heat in this dreadful southern humidity as it withered back in early summer. fortunately it came back this year. the 'jack' part is withered as of today but the leaves and stalk should remain showy for a few more weeks then it will die back until next mid spring. this is the "jack in the pulpit" bloom from a whipcord cobra lily. this year it is approximately 5feet tall. the flower is supposedly carnivourous like the venus flytrap and attracts insects inside where they die and are 'eaten' by jack. kinda like how u.s. doctors attract people in to get them hooked on drugs that haven't even been tested by the fda so they can make more $$$...and kill us quicker...and take away the drugs that have been used successfully for years with no ill effects....sorry I'm on a swing...enjoy...

Great shot! If you think "Jack" is going to die, you can always send it here. We jokingly dub our place, "The place where plants come to die." (Not exactly green-thumbs, you probably already guessed. :)
